On completion of this course, the student should be able to:

  • Course provides students with knowledge of both how to perform statistical analyses and critique the use of some more advanced statistical methods useful in answering real world applications.
  • An understanding of how statistical methods can help increase the competitiveness of products and processes.
  • An ability to apply statistic methods in formulating and solving problems.

The Design & Analysis of Factorial Experiments for 2 Factors.
The Design and Analysis of Factorial Experiments with 3 or More Factors.
Gage Repeatability& Reproducibility (Gage R & R) ,Response Surface Methods and Designs.
Multivariate data analysis with an emphasis on applications for business, marketing research and consumer behaviour.
Lectures, assignments, case studies and mini-projects.
End-of-semester examination, group assignments, mid-term examination and class attendance.
