On completion of this course, the student should be able to:

  • Identify and evaluate requirements for e-business applications.
  • Explain the impact of web based technologies on commercial activities of enterprises.
  • Evaluate issues encountered by organizations in managing e commerce systems and assess these issues are addressed.

E-business strategies, E-commerce models; electronic payments; security, legal and social issues, e-business prospects in Sri Lanka, future trends of e-commerce.
